From the beliefs of the native people, the book tells the tales of their unresolved lives. It is their struggles that they can overcome through their rooted culture and beliefs. The stories are influenced by the bedded soil of Birbhum District and Durgapur. 

Despite their several difficulties, related to studies, and financial problems their inner strength has been a boon to them. There are different individual communities with their stories showing the magic of trust and beliefs.    

Durgapur, the steel city of West Bengal, has its own individuality related to ethnicity and livelihood. The book covers the tales of people of different statuses who suffer in their own specific situations. Once, the town was only surrounded by tribal people and a few out-comers working in the steel industry. 
After a few years, with the shutdown of many industries, it was observed that the town was struggling due to different factors. It was during these hardships that their strength developed slowly with time. 

Community and their togetherness are seen growing with time. It still exists in all parts as they believe in staying together despite differences. The tales are inspired by the true stories from the corners of the ethnic people of Durgapur and nearby areas. 

Their thoughts, beliefs, and simplicity strengthen them for a better tomorrow. Also, it describes the influence of the new settlements of factories on people.
