Hopscotch

“Hopscotch” is a book containing 40 poems. It’s a meditation on relationships - our relationships with the world, with ourselves and with Mother Earth. The title is an acknowledgement of the skill, planning, focus and energy, that the game of hopscotch, which we played as children, demands from the players. The same is true of modern life. The skills we require as adults are honed in childhood games. The central theme running through the 40 poems is humanity’s complex relations with the world around it.
